One 8-oz. Pure Maple Syrup by Federal Grove, by most accounts the southernmost maple syrup producer. The maple sap begins to flow in Mid-January and continues with periods of freezing and thawing through early March. It takes 35-50 gallons of sap boiled down to produce one gallon of syrup.
One Pancake Mix by Weisenberger Mill, located on the South Elkhorn Creek in southern Scott County, Kentucky. The creek has provided the water to power the mill's twin turbines since the early 1800's. Six generations of Weisenbergers have operated the mill at the present location since 1865. They offer offer more than seventy items in various sizes, including flour for any baking purpose, complete mixes for many popular end products, and breading blends for chicken, fish, meats, and vegetables.
Nestled in a multicolor Jelly Basket handcrafted by That Kentucky Lady, Elizabeth Worley, a juried member of the Kentucky Craft Market Program. She has been weaving and selling handmade original baskets since 1984. Each basket in the Kentucky Lady collection is signed and dated, and attached to each basket is a stenciled wooden logo tag indicating the date it was crafted and the type of basket.
