Rachel Bissonette
Description:
Rachel Bissonette has been in love with horses since the age of two. She was raised in Ohio but says she was "born a Kentuckian" as she's always felt an affinity for the Bluegrass State. She earned her degree in Horse Production and Management and currently works with yearlings at Three Chimneys Farm here in Woodford County. Most of Rachel's art is created from recycled baling wire straight off the farm. Each large piece requires approximately 12 to 14 hours to complete.
The Horse and Jockey Wire Sculpture measures 22 inches from nose to tail, 15 inches from hooves to cap, and six inches wide.
