Darlene Lowe (LoweCool Games) was born and raised in Danville, Boyle County, Kentucky and is an alumnus of Eastern Kentucky University. She worked as a Probation and Parole Officer for the state of Kentucky at the time of her retirement in 2010. She now has time to devote to her hobbies and passion, which includes learning more about her home state and sharing that knowledge with others. In creating Kentucky Challenge, Darlene has provided a fun and interesting way for folks to learn about our great state and the people who make it special. Kentucky Challenge is not the first game that Darlene has created, but it is the first game that she has copyrighted, produced, and offered for sale. Her first game, Trivia Traveler, won a silver medal in 1990 at the Invention/New Product Exposition (INPEX) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When she is not traveling around the Bluegrass to visit new places and meet new faces, Darlene resides in Lexington, Kentucky.
