She loves herbs and essential oils so much that she started formal training in herbalism and aromatherapy several years ago under the direction of Demetria Clark (Herbal Healing For Children). Calendula: A fabulous healer, it soothes inflamed and dry skin, inflamed muscles, and boosts collagen production around wounds to speed healing and prevent scarring. Also makes a fabulous hand "cream" for severely dry, cracked skin.

Arnica: Used for pain and trauma--no other herb heals bruises faster. Can be used before strenuous activity to prevent pain or after to quickly relieve pain. Should NOT be used on broken skin.
